The Nutrient Co was founded by Vanessa Hewett (BHSc), a clinical nutritionist with a degree in nutrition and dietetics. Her passion for health, inspired by her family’s emphasis on healthy eating and supplementation, and also grew from her own struggles with hormonal imbalances, PMS, migraines, acne, and anemia. These personal experiences led her to pursue a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine.

After graduating, Vanessa opened her own practice as a Clinical Nutritionist, offering consultations and creating personalized meal plans. Through her work, she identified a gap in the market for practitioner-grade supplements, leading to the creation of The Nutrient Co. Vanessa carefully selects each ingredient based on clinical research to create effective, research-backed formulas.

Driven by her deep commitment to improving women's health, Vanessa is currently enrolled in a post-graduate program in Women's Health Medicine. This advanced training allows her to further refine her expertise and address the unique health challenges women face, from hormonal balance to reproductive health.
